So it’s hard to believe that my baby is actually Three now! As Annabelle isn’t really the girliest of girls (think Pocahontas rather than Cinderella) I wanted to throw her a fairly neutral themed party, a bit boho to embrace the ‘free spirited’ child she is haha.
It’s all in the details…
The invitations were specially designed and made by the lovely Love JK Australia, as well as the matching cute personalised drink bottles and take-home lunch boxes for all the kids. These were such a huge hit and a great way to make sure people left with a big smile and even bigger slab of cake 😉
Tara knows I like to keep things rather simple, so we opted for a cute nude cake made by the lovely Lisa from Burnt Butter Cakes (our amazing go-to cake girl). It looked and tasted A-MAZING! She also made some amazing lemon tarts and macaroons that were leafed with gold! The cake was also topped by a gorgeous wooden ‘Annabelle’ cake topper by Hexi Australia.
All the party supplies like giant balloons and tassels were from Fete Cartel. As well as the cut out leaves, A’s & 3’s. Fete Cartel also make giant word and personalised name cut-outs, perfect for parties (we just had no where to tie ours up).
As for food, we opted for some delicious mini pies from Okka Pies that came in a huge variety of flavours to cater to everyone’s likes and are perfect for kids! We even had a mini pie menu on display (board just from Kmart). It ended up being way more affordable that even a BBQ and way less clean up!
Annabelle’s gorgeous leotard was from Feather Drum. And as for the pony, that Annabelle refused to ride, a good friend of ours actually organised one for me! And it was a great attraction for the other kids at the party ha ha.
