As you guys know, 2020 was my year that I wanted to focus on waste reduction around me.
I’m talking everything from finances to time, and of course food waste in our household.
That’s why I wanted to share with you some simple and creative ways to use up leftovers over Easter.
If you’re like me, then you can’t help but grab Hot Cross Buns the second they come on the shelves every year. My go-to? Choc Chip!!
These are perfect for a quick and easy dessert, just mix up the ingredients below and pour them over your Hot Cross Buns in a ceramic dish.
- 6-pack Hot Cross Buns
- 2 x Free Range Eggs
- 200ml Thickened Cream
- 40g Coconut Sugar
- 40ml Light Milk
- Sprinkle of Cinnamon
Place all your hot cross buns, cut up into 4, around a ceramic bowl. Mix all the above and pour-over.
Let it soak for 5 minutes and then bake on 180 degrees fo 25 minutes. Enjoy!
