As promised, I’ve put together a list of basic items to check off that you have access to when starting your budgetting and finance journey.
I suggest keeping these digitally with a password manager that securely manages your password. I use LastPass, but there are many available. Do your research and make sure you comfortable with it.
NOTE: I am just sharing what I use, please do your own research and be absolutely comfortable with what you use and how you store this info.
The reason I prefer this method is because it not only keeps it secure but it is accessable at all time. If I need details on the fly I can simple login and get it.
Passwords can also be auto-filled making it quick and easy, not having to remember all my passwords. I suggest also having auto-generated passwords that are strong so nothing is the same, and again more secure!
If you are keeping it manually on paper, make sure it’s in a secure location. Don’t use the same passwords for everything, especially for financial information.
Any-who, where were we?! Right the checklist. So I suggest screenshotting this, copying into your notes, printing, or writing it and changing it to exactly what is relevant to you!
