When eBay asked me to collaborate with them and share my top beauty picks, to be entirely honest I thought they had me confused with someone else haha!!
There are SO many amazing beauty/makeup gurus and influencers out there, some more than half my age! Umm, if you saw photos of pre-teen me, you’d see poorly applied blue eyeshadow and hair straightened with mums iron…
But that doesn’t mean I am not a huge lover of beauty, hair and makeup. Hello?! I’m a mum, we live on dry shampoo and anything to help minimise those dark circles that tell the world we haven’t slept since 2012!
Plus, I couldn’t tell you the number of purchases I’ve made in the middle of the night, endlessly scrolling and trying to keep my eyes open while feeding. Online shopping is the gift to all the time poor/sleep deprived mums out there.
Not to mention, living regionally myself – online shopping and marketplace websites like eBay just make everything so much more accessible to us. It gives you everything you need at your fingertips from multiple sellers when you might not have the opportunity to get to a huge department store or shopping centre.
From the latest “must-have” eyeshadow pallet (I have no idea what the cool kids are buying, let’s be honest) to even just the speciality blonde shampoo and conditioner I can’t get at the local supermarket – everything I need is easily found at one of the thousands of eBay stores.
Plus, like most mums – I love a bargain, and being able to shop and compare different stores for all my favourite products is a big added bonus!
As an example, I have shared my top 8 Must-Have Mumma Beauty Products, all staples from my beauty bag and things I use daily. I’m sure most other mums have almost all of these on their list!
You can also shop my edit directly here at eBay!
Being a blonde, this is my go-to to keep brassy tones and yellow at bay! I’ve tried a lot and this is my favourite.
Total game changer, any product that has multiple uses is a winner for busy mums. Be it to remove makeup or just clean and tone your skin, I go through bottles of this!
It’s hard to find a good foundation for oily skin and I’ve tried a lot in my time. Complete fluke I found it, but I borrowed a girlfriend’s and LOVE it. Stays on my skin all day, isn’t heavy and has minimal shine.
This is like the OG of mascara I feel. It’s been around for years and it’s always the one I’ve come back to. No fancy bottle or wands, it’s not clumpy and is super waterproof. Much needed when you’re a busy mum.
No comment really needed right?! But by far the best dry shampoo I’ve used and that’s saying something when you go 5+ days without washing your hair.
Every woman needs a nice pink/nude gloss!
My makeup artist friends tell me it’s all about the base!I just love this because it makes me look semi-alive/awake!
Your best friend when it’s late and you cannot be bothered. Also doubles for wiping kids’ faces and removing makeup from the bench when the kids drew on it with your lipstick!
Because everyone loves a tan, but no one wants the leathery wrinkled skin that a real tan brings!
