Some popular luxe good resellers you might have heard of are The RealReal and Vestiaire Collective. These companies offer a wide variety of designer items, from clothing and accessories to home decor and art.

However, I prefer to use some more local individual resellers like “Selling Your Wardrobe”, who is located in Melbourne and I have a great relationship and trust.

I often buy and sell my own designer goods with Jordie (who is the GOAT of reselling IMO) and have found some amazing bargains like my current season Valentino platforms I recently got for almost HALF the price.

I have also sold designer items for MORE then their retail as they were high-demand items, unavailable for purchase at the time.

Hiring

This is a popular market that takes place usually on the first Sunday of every month, and it’s a great place to find designer items at discounted prices. You’ll find a wide variety of clothing, accessories, and other items from both local and international designers.

I have both sold at the market and bought tonnes of epic pieces for a fraction of the price. On my last trip, I got a P.E Nation jacket that retails for almost $400, I got it for $50 WITH TAGS!!!

Online Pre-Loved Stores

Online stores like Depop and Poshmark are great options for finding designer items at a fraction of the price. Both of these platforms allow users to buy and sell gently used clothing and accessories, and you’ll find a wide variety of designer items available. I did this for a pair of Golden Goose sneakers I really wanted and ended up getting them almost 40% cheaper than their RRP. I set up an alert and then also used Shopback on the website I purchased from which I saved about 7%

I purchased my Dyson Airwrap using my Qantas points. I will note, this is the lease cost-efficient way to use points but I couldn’t justify the huge price tag and also we were not flying much at that time.
