Today is the day! Disney+ has launched in Australia, and I can hear the sigh of relief from parents everywhere, who have been trying to explain to their children where Woody went for the last few months.

Those who purely had a Netflix, then Stan subscription for the Disney movie collection will know what I’m talking about.

But now, the collection is endless. And it’s never going anywhere because it has its own home! And here is why you are gonna want it…

Disney+ is a Walt Disney’s very own subscription video-on-demand streaming service. It will be the home of all things Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and… wait for it!

The Simpsons (as well as anything 20th Century Fox, if you remember they bought that too).

It’s got epic original content

Just like Netflix and Stan, the Disney+ platform will be dishing up their own original content you can only watch via the service.

The Mandalorian is their first epic release. And those who are already enthralled in the world of Star Wars won’t want to miss it.

There is also WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye and a new live-action remake of Disney animated classic Lady and the Tramp coming very soon.

It’s pretty affordable

Any Netflix subscriber will have gotten their notification of the price increase this week.

Making the $8.99 price tag on Disney plus pretty appealing. You can also subscribe for a year at only $89.99, saving 16%!
